  THEY FINALLY PAVED THE PARKING LOT!!!! I used to avoid large purchases here, because trying to take the cart out to your vehicle, was rediculous. The lot was so rough, the cart would actually rattle your teeth. Happy to be able to shop local again. Also, they employ a lot of the neighborhood teens, which gives the kids job experience, and teaches responsibility.

  I called in 5 Days earlier to order 10 doz donuts. They thought it was for the following day. Robert took care of it They sold me Glace donuts instead of mixager. The members of the HOA ate some of them but about 3 fox. were left behind. I know Winn Dixie will do better next time

  I have shopped here for over 15 years. The store is always clean and management/staff is very nice. I would buy their meat over Publix any day. Except for the brand Rancher’s Choice”. For some reason the steaks look amazing and when you cook them they are awful. Tough and flavorless. After the 3rd time we just stopped buying that brand all together.
  
  Seafood is good and fresh, but I wish they’d carry more “Wild Caught” shrimp and fish. I refuse to serve farm raised seafood to my family and friends.
  
  I know a lot of people may shy away from this Winn Dixie store because of the bad reputation the one in Kmart plaza downtown Ft Pierce had. That store has since closed; was filthy and smelled badly. I have friends that live on North in South Beach that pass right on by Publix and go a couple of miles out of their way up to this Winn-Dixie to get their groceries.
  
  Compared to Publix, WD’s meat is better and the prices are cheaper. Why pay more for the same brand of frozen goods, veges, canned goods and more. Makes zero sense to me. Thanks WD, I hope you stay in our neighborhood for many years to come.
